Merrill is a lifelong resident of North Dakota. His experience in the legislature has given him the expertise he needs to make a great Governor.

He is married to Connie and they enjoy their family time with son Max, daughter-in-law Käri, and two beautiful granddaughters.

Lt. Governor candidate, Patrick Hart is a native of Pembina, North Dakota. He is a small business owner, married to Melissa. They are raising their two children, Connor and Cayley, in Bismarck, ND.
